Cuckoo Cafe is a cafe/restaurant with a difference in the heart of Greytown, around 1 hour north-east of Wellington, New Zealand's capital city.

Owned by husband and wife team Brian and Janine Mortensen, and located inside a 1920's townhouse on the corner of Main Street (SH2) and Hastwell Street, Cuckoo definitely has a homely vibe.

We serve a great range of food, including our ever popular thin base pizzas, hearty lasange, pasta and slowcook dishes, toasted sandwiches, cooked breakfast, irresistible cheesecakes in 10 flavours, cakes, muffins and scones.

To wash it all down with, we offer Havana coffee, tea, a selection of beer and wines from the Wairarapa, New Zealand and beyond, milkshakes and a selection of cold drinks.

In summer, you can dine out in our courtyard or out on our porch, and during winter, you can dine next to our warm open fire indoors. We also offer wireless broadband internet so you can surf rain or shine.
